Minimum Requirements
Be 18 years of age
Hold a High School diploma or equivalent
Be a team player ready to jump head-first into their new career
COMPETITIVE PAY DURING TRAINING
Depending on experience, trainees will receive a competitive hourly rate on a full-time basis. Upon completion of the program, a review will be had and raise given.
$2,000 TOOL ALLOWANCE
During your training period, all tools will be provided. Upon successful completion of the program, Ballard Truck Center will help you purchase $2,000 of tools that will be yours to keep after two years with the company. Tools are one of the biggest obstacles to starting your career as a mechanic, and we’re here to help.

$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS + BENEFITS
Upon completion of the up to 6 Month training program, successful candidates will be offered a $5,000 Sign On bonus and a full time position at Ballard Truck Center, including competitive benefits including uniforms, boot allowance, dental, health, and 401(k).
Bonuses are determined at company’s sole discretion and may be subject to change without notice.

Ballard Truck Center has been named Mack and Volvo Trucks North American Dealer Group of the Year. With 7 locations in the northeast, we keep New England rolling. Training will be conducted at our Avon, MA location by a Mack Master Technician. Following training, technicians have the opportunity to be placed in any of our locations based on availability.
